Quick overview of notable work completed to date on the Wiluna West Iron Ore Project.

Milestones

1. The Company announced in October 2007 the Inferred Mineral Resource for the Wiluna West Iron project is 86.3 million tonnes @ 60.1% Fe. This represents a significant milestone for the Company in its endeavors to outline a project of at least 200 million tonnes of iron ore and further elevates Wiluna West as one of the lead projects in the emerging Mid West iron ore province of Western Australia.
2. In addition to C4 iron deposit, further iron ore resources have been identified at locations C1, C2, C3 and C5 with a number of other targets yet to be tested.
3. Infrastructure planning is underway with the two port options being:
   • Oakajee to the West, 700km from Wiluna
   • Esperance to the South, 900km from Wiluna
4. Golden West is a member of the Geraldton Iron Ore Alliance. The Midwest companies are awaiting decisions by Government regarding rail and port development.
